Are You Real? è il progetto solista di Andrea Liuzza, musicista e produttore veneziano. Le sue canzoni uniscono in modo molto personale indie folk, alt rock e dream pop, dipingendo paesaggi interiori a volte apocalittici, a volte incantati e magici. Per l’approccio rigorosamente do-it-yourself è stato spesso paragonato a Mark Linkous, Daniel Johnston e Phil Elverum.
Dopo essersi fatto conoscere con due album a proprio nome, Andrea decide di scomparire dietro il moniker Are You Real?. Nel 2012 pubblica “Songs Of Innocence” (Face Like A Frog Records) e nel 2017 il suo ideale seguito, “Songs From My Imaginary Youth” (Sisma), ricevendo ottime critiche. Negli anni ha suonato in tutta Italia e alcune città d’Europa, unendo alla musica suggestive proiezioni. Ha anche girato alcuni videoclip, finendo su MTV.
Nel 2017 fonda Beautiful Losers, etichetta con cui pubblica dischi da lui arrangiati e mixati per altri artisti, come An Early Bird, A Red Idea e Leptons.

Are You Real? is the solo project of the venetian musician and producer Andrea Liuzza. His songs are a very personal mix of indie folk, alt rock and dream pop, which paints inner landscapes both apocalyptic and magical. Working in a do-it-yourself way, he’s been often compared to Mark Links, Daniel Johnston and Phil Elverum.
After two appreciated album under his own name, Andrea decided to disappear behind the moniker Are You Real?. He published “Songs Of Innocence” (Face Like A Frog Records) in 2012 and its ideal second chapter “Songs From My Imaginary Youth” (Sisma) in 2017, getting great reviews. In time he has played across all Italy and in some european city, with fascinating video projections. He has also released his own music videos, ending up on MTV.
In 2017 he has founded Beautiful Losers, a record label to publish other artists’ records he produces and mixes, such as An Early Bird, A Red Idea and Leptons.
